The MBTA now services Providence Station with 37 stops on weekdays, 9 stops on Saturdays and 10 stops on Sundays. Service to T.F. Green State Airport and Wickford Junction features 20 stops on weekdays.
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) provides statewide bus service with routes that provide connections to train stations when MBTA trains are not scheduled. Click here to learn more.
Ticket fares vary by distance traveled and are based on the MBTA's zone system.
Seniors and persons with disabilities get 50 percent off. Children age 11 and younger are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Parking rates vary from station to station and monthly passes are available.
Please note that effective July 1, 2012, fares on most MBTA services increased, including parking fees in Massachusetts parking lots and garages. Parking fares are not changing at Providence, T.F. Green or Wickford Junction stations. The MBTA also will charge an additional $3 for tickets purchased on the train instead of at a ticket counter. T.F. Green and Wickford Junction stations are exempt from this charge.

Parking at Providence Station costs $8.75 per day for MBTA travelers. monthly passes are available. Coupon books are available for MBTA customers only: $165 for a full book (23 coupons) and $100 for a half book (12 coupons). This parking structure is managed by Metropark.

Parking at the InterLink garage costs $6.75 per day for the first 24 hours. The monthly commuter parking rate is currently $95 per month. The parking garage is designed for daily commuter usage and those parking for more than 24 hours will incur a $30 daily surcharge. Click here for more information. Parking at Wickford Junction costs $4 daily. Monthly passes are available for $79.20, and reflects a 10 percent discount off the average monthly per-day rate. A 5 percent discount is available on Value Passes (minimum of 10 parking days per month).
